Below is a close up of my condy, which is over a year old, and my tomato, which is over two years old.
In recent weeks I have noticed what appears to be tentacles growing on the tentacles of my anemone. I'm tempted to refer to this as budding, since these tentacles don't appear to grow very long or function. The behavior and general appearance of the condy, other than these buds have not changed. The condy is a healthy eater, still appears to be growing, stays open all day and closes for a short period during the night, and has moved about an inch in the past four months. (The only time it moved was when I moved the rock its foot is on.) The clown is much the same as he's always been - adorable, loving, and protective.
Any suggestions as to what might be happening? It's not clear to me that this is bad, I just don't know exactly what is going on. If these symptoms don't sound familiar, I'll grab some snapshots when it's inflated tomorrow.
Thanks for your thoughts.
