I think it will be fine. Just start it low in the tank and slowly move it into a brighter area, or upwards if that is your intention.
Since it is expanding and eating, that's a good indicator it is happy.

If you start seeing more white/clearish areas then I would move it into a lower light area.
Target feeding wouldn't hurt either. I try to target feed my ecnino's about once a week. Just to help with growth.

Actually, I don't have any which look like the one linked, critmin. In a way, it sort of resembles yours, wouldn't you say? It's a very neat piece!

The piece I have has two "colonies" on a single rock and I noticed today that the other colony (not pictured) has started growing over a dead area. This made me very happy.
