Quiet fans

Anyone have any recommendations for some AC fans that are super quiet? They need to be able to push a good amount of air, too.

I tried orion AC fans. They were very loud. I ended up getting two Silenx DC fans.

I'm liking the low dB levels of those silentx fans. I couldn't find the AC fans. Only the 12v ones.

Silenx only makes DC fans. I have mine running on a variable DC transformer so I can control the speed. You can't slow down/speed up AC fans. They are really silent fans. After trying several different AC and DC fans that were loud I went with these and am very satisfied.

How do you go about attaching computer fans to a transformer? They come in 3 and 4 pin configurations.

cut the connecter off and splice it into the transformer.

I got my transformer from Radio Shack. It was $20. Let me know if you get the fans. I will tell you the exact model transformer I got.
