R/O Remineralization

I just aquired my first R/O unit with the deionizing cartridge, but my question is, that I've seen these products from Kent, that reconstitute R/O water. Is this necessary for marine aquariums, b/c doesn't the salt mix replace all the necessary elements? Or is it a good idea to use this kind of product, along with my salt mix?

It's useless for marine aquariums, for the reason you state. For freshwater tanks it might have some value, I guess.

Your salt mix has everything your tank needs.

Thanks for your input, thats what I thought, but wasn't sure b/c I have both marine and freshwater running off of the same R/O unit.

If you are using RO/DI for your FW systems, you probably want some sort of additive for minerals and such. My FW tank runs fine on tap water + dechlorinator... then again, my FW tank isn't that great.
