Rainforest Cafe Closes

Not sure if everyone was aware but they closed. Just wondering what happens to all of the fish ? Not really reef related but certainly pertains to the hobby.

Just one location, or all of them? I have a contact who is (was? ) the fish curator at the Westfarms location.

They move there fish to there othere stores lol I asked couple weeks ago when I heard the news they won't sell a single item from there tanks

Is this true...or just assuming? I lost so much damn money with that company. I bought stock years ago...when they first started building up north. There were lines out the door for that place. The stock just plummetted..the management was a mess. The food just got worse and worse. It will not surprise me if they all go out. Shame, because the idea was really great.

they are closed.... and the above comments about the food is right on. got worse and worse....
I will say that the one in San-Antonio Texas was fantastic, AND all the fish looked 100% healthy

It's really a shame. They started out really great but they were too stingy about maintenance of the store, the animatronics, and so on. They also kept reducing the quality of their ingredients.

Short-sighted profit chasing claims another really cool concept. It's too bad.
