raising it up

I have a 55 main display that i am going to set up. It needs to be raised 18 more inches than the stand is right now. Should I just build a pedistul. Or a whole new stand. What do you think. I really want to get it going.

Take your time and do it right. If you can afford to build a new stand go for it.

Does any one have any easy design i can use. I have all the tools just no design. It is my first time bulding one
