RAREst fish in your sps tank

Usually the largest fish die first due to low oxygen.

i have often times contemplated putting one of these in my main tank because the SPS that i have in there is disposable... and i wouldnt care if it ate them! ( i break them all the time and just let em sit in the sand cause i am to lazt to mount em or give em away) lol... my personifer angel likes to eat my hydnophora, but more power to him! hehe my lft gets these in quite often and may give em a try somtime... but DEF not gonna ever make it into my SPS tank with the stuff that i actually like! :)

YA know I always thought that too but my foxface is still doing great, hes the biggest fish I have. My chevron was still very small...and my yellow assesor was the smallest fish I own.

Here is a pic of my White Ray Goby..

I tried to post a pic earlier but it didn't work out..

Typhon;

Hard to believe but the LFS, it cost me $130 but I wasn;t shoping for price so I'm not sure if I got taken or not.

That is a pretty good price. Most places the "Labouts Fairy Wrasse" goes for $150 and up. I have only seen a few places that sell the wrasse for less than $150. Good buy!!!

I think my rarest fish is my 8 going on 9 year old flame angel and regal blue tang! But in terms of cost of a fish it is my regal angel.

greg i started reading this thread just to see your fish and if anyone else kept one glad to see you joined in.i think he has plenty of food in that tank....im surprised you didnt post the pipe fish too but i suppose you wouldnt scince its not in one of the sps tanks...BTW that blue acro is the same one i got it looks so much different with the polyps extended that thing is hairy

No I do not have one of those, but as soon as I saw it was like "damn, I'll replace my coral beauty with this fish" then I saw the price and said "nevermind." :)

Although if you've ever seen the golden angles in person they are a very close second IMO.

I wouldnt put a Japanese in SPS tank.
Almost any Japanese I saw was nipping at SPS and NOT ocassionally.
There are quite a few now in Hong Kong.....there are much more beautiful in person than in the pix, but....naaa Im not going to take this risk.

BerlinMethod - that is one SWEET Acanthastrea only tank. Awesome. P.S. I don't have any rare or unusual fish on my tank.
