So do you guys think it is worth it? I'm thinking about taking the plunge but I don't know what the benefits are besides Priority Search

Helps alot on search. I did mine just cuz I felt RC helped me enough that I should help support it.

I felt the same way. When I started a reef tank I lurked on RC for a long time before I even got a user id. Until I joined MARS, RC was my best source of reef information.

Same here. Lurked on RC for three years. After I got my user ID it was about 1.5 more years before my 1st post. So....about five years of info & advice for about 50 bucks. Plus the searches are hassle free.

I'm one too..
I figure with the hours I'm on here, and the bandwidth I use browsing the site; I use WAY more than $25.00 worth!!
Plus I love to use the search feature...
It's also good for when you go comment on many threads in many forums, and then you want to quickly find threads that you responded to and follow up on them..

Well, I did it after too many search errors, and, though I still get them, it's much less often and doesn't make me want to smash my monitor in frustration.
Plus, hopefully if enough of us 'take the plunge' RC can add additional servers and solve this once and for all.

Ok I think I am going to take the plunge as well! It drives me nuts that I cannot use the Search function. I end up having to go on WWM to "search" for anything.
My question though...Is the RC search enging better then WWM? I hate the fact that you have to scoll through EVERY Post to find what you originally searched for!

Not me. No such thing as premium membership back in 2000 when I joined. Everyone had full search capabilities, the site was responsive and lots and lots of discussion about...the reefkeeping hobby.
Anyone remember those discussions about Jaubert Plennums, 'rare' blue pom-pom xenia, 'rare' pajama cardinals, etc?
