Receding frogspawn...

I got a frogspawn for nearly free who is receding and partaily bleached. He is under 55 watts of PC light in a low flow refugium. Anything I can do to improve it's chances for living? I will try to feed him again later. Tryed to feed him right after he opened when I got him home and he closed up again
