Red bugs?

What do " Red Bugs" actually look like. I just bought a fish and lowered the bag in the tank and noticed little red balls about half the size of bb. I don't put lfs water into my tank but I want to how careful I have to be.

they are yellow, with red spots on one end. take a look here http://www.melevsreef.com/id/kritter2.html under pods. what you have doesnt sound like them. may just be some food from the LFS. any idea if they feed pellets?
