Red Sea Reefer 250 Refugium advice

InTank makes a media basket for the RSM tanks -- I think the Reefer is the same sized rear chambers as other 250 models? http://www.shop.mediabaskets.com/Red-Sea-Max-250_c37.htm

The media basket goes into one of the back chambers and from there I have seen people run it as a refugium.

One consideration to keep in mind, I am not sure about the reefer series but the RSM 250 uses tinted glass on the back panel. If you run a refugium with submersible lights they will shine through the black glass and can look a bit awkward - if you care for that.

This guy did the refugium I am referencing on a rsm 250: http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forum/index.php?threads/daniels-tank-upgrade-to-rsm-250.91241/

If you wanted a really over sized refugium, the other option would be to yank the entire skimmer out and replace it with something like an Aquamaxx hob-1 (or any HOB skimmer). That would allow you to use the entire large skimmer chamber as a fuge - although you would probably be constantly fighting the skimmer getting clogged w/ chaeto assuming you put that in the fuge.
