I had one of my stags start to STN from the base up. It has lost tissue at about 1/2" per week for 2 weeks. I took out the colony and gave it a dip in some Revive and found the following (pictured). There were about a dozen that came off and this was one of the larger ones. It is smaller than a flatworm and a brilliant blood red color. Could these be the culprit of the tissue loss? Any clues what these are?

Really??? I've extensively searched my coral and can't find any that look like pictures of the mature AEFW. Also no bite marks, just the tissue receding from the base. The one pictured is the largest and is 1/4 of the size of a common brown flat worm. Maybe I just didn't catch any on this colony.

looks like regular red flatworms to me. AEFW are clearish.
