Trying to cycle a new tank 46 gal bowfront, no fish in it just the sand bed at this point. We mixed according to directions. We Start out at 1.024 and overnight it's going up to 1.028 or higher. We are using this same salt in the smaller tank that is a 26 galsmaller mixed reef with zero issues.any readon for this?

Hydrometer and by hand with aerator

They're hasn't been any yet

Hydrometers can be inaccurate. A bubble on the arm can throw the reading off big time. Do you have an LFS you can take a water sample to or maybe get a refractometer.
