How do I cut out the glare from my MHs when taking overheads shots of my tank? I am using a Kodak V550 and the lighting is 250W MH. Here is an example of what I mean.
No simple solution as far as I know. A polarizing filter may help some but unless you have one of those 'look down' boxes the only thing to do is move the camera around until you can find an angle where the glare is minimized.
The look down boxes are basically acryllic boxes that you shoot thru- the box sits right on the water surface. If you're handy with acryllic you can make one yourself fairly easily.
