Reef Depot visit

Why is it that everytime I go there I hang out for 2+ hours creating a wish list and then breaking down and buying multiple things? If I could only take Mark's SPS tank and move it to my place. So many good things to pick from SPS, LPS, fish, supplies, etc. all at great prices. Mark is a super easy guy to deal with and talk to as well. Keep in mind you have to get there before Canar cherry picks all the good SPS pieces. Kudo's to a great LFH (Local Fish House).

I'll have to make the trip out there, my first impression wasn't to good, when I called I got his vmail and never got a call back.

I believe he is involved in construction and tank maintence services during the day and is usually at the house late afternon. Lot's of juggling. I'd say give him another try.

Yeah, Def after 5 on the weekdays is your best bet. I was just over there yesterday, Mark hooked me up with Some water for my water change.

And ended up taking home one new addition since the tank is running real healthy now

yea, sometimes he can be hard to get a hold of and doesnt return calls. he has a lot going on. keep on trying, trust me its worth it when you do get a hold of him. real nice guy.

A huge thumbs up for reef depot!

I am in the process of setting up a 240-gallon reef tank and visited Reef Depot yesterday. I agree with Evolley1. Marks SPS tank is awesome and he's an easy guy to deal with. He also offers great prices on every thing he sells. If you want to fill up your tank real fast, reef Depot has huge colonies of SPS, LPS, Zoos, live rock etc.

I bought two Lumen max reflectors with 2 400 W 12000K Reeflux bulbs and Coral VUE electronic ballasts. I also bought a Reeflo Dart pump from him. I am very satisfied with the price he offered the products at. He also made sure that all the equipments are in good condition before I took it home.

I am waiting to get the stand for my tank; once I get it I am also hoping to buy a reef octopus skimmer from him hopefully next weekend.
