I have a Reef Octopus Classic 150 Skimmer that I want to put into my Refugium. Simple enough I would think. My problem is thedischargenon the pump is on top. to connect the pump tpthe reactor body, you have to turn the pump on its side. There are no feet or level stand to place the pumps body to rest. It must be suspended sideways stressing the union I am sure. Here are some shots
It looks as if this pump was designed to be hung sideways because there are tear drop type hanging holes to slip over screws on the flat part on the side.
Does anyone have some insight about this arrangement?
