reef raft coming to bay area

If the store is anything like the one in Garden Grove, we're in for a treat. However, for those who haven't been to an L.A. SPS shop, be prepared for sticker shock. While they probably had a few thousand frags and cater to a relatively wide audience, they're famous for their signature pieces which cost $$$$ for a frag. I'm sure we're going to hear complaints about the high prices, but the reality is that's the market they cater to.

For the most part though, the pieces live up to their name and the colors actually do match what you see on the website. I went thinking I'd pick up a couple of pieces because the in-store prices would be cheaper than what is on the website -- not true. The person helping me actually looked at the website to get pricing. I couldn't buy the pieces I wanted because my wife would've kicked me out of the house for spending $700 on two sub-1" frags. Nicest I've seen though!

They got some crazy colored SPS for the stick lovers. If I was into sticks ( OR ABLE TO KEEP THEM ALIVE ) I would def buy from them.

Yup we need more shops in bay area

Not sure I agree. There is a reason we've lost 20+ stores in the last 10 years. We had too many left over from the Tech Boom.

from talking to RR, this store is focusing on high end set-ups and corals. Looks like they are going all out for the store build. They should do pretty well around here.
