Barrier Reef in Boca

+1 nice coral selection nothing really exotic but still nice.
They have an awesome set up in the front with led running the light system and the coral line instead of purple is actually orange. I've never seen it before like that and though it was really neat

If your going to window shop then barrier is ok.. All I can shay is there corals are not that great and way over priced.. As for fish they are fairly priced and healthy.. All I can say is I don't shop there.. Most of them are not that knowledgeable about reef tanks or saltwater in general. When I first started years ago I shopped there now only in a emergency.. They sold me a Indy elegance for 200$(way over priced) and told me it was a very hardy coral and easy to keep....so that's should sum it up right there.. Miami has some nice places to go to. Don't know much about up north.. Over the years I have learned to stay away from LFS..

Tanks A lot has a TON of aussie corals and sps right now as well as a constantly diverse stock of fish. It's in Lake Worth and a tiny tiny shop but they are more fairly priced and have a much broader selection of livestock. The staff that run the place are pretty young but they are super knowledgable and reef enthusiasts themselves.

I haven't been in awhile, but I like this store too, but yes it is super small, and can be a pain to park, but usually have a nice small selection. I always check this store out when I'm in Lake Worth.
