I go to Absolutely Fish (www.absolutelyfish.com) in Clifton, NJ and I really like Just Fish in Newton, although it's small with a limited selection. Just Fish has pristine tanks and I just purchased two pieces of live rock from him with beautiful coralline algae on them.
I go to Just fish also. He keeps his tanks very well. Each one is independent from one another also. Hey thats funny, I also just bought a few pieces or really nice rock from him also. How often do you make your way over to Just Fish? I make my rounds to Just fish and Natures Cove once a week. TJ @ natures cove is finally redoing his salt section and ill be helping him out quite a bit.
Yes, I was at Natures Cove the other day, I saw he ripped out almost the entire last isle of tanks. Should look good when it's done! I stop at just fish a lot, there almost every Friday evening. Going this Friday because I am developing a new web site for him, need to touch base. I picked up a 40 gallon tank today, am modding it into a sump/Fuge. Hope it works out!!
Hi my name is Guillermo from Bethlehem PA, theres a nice place here called something fishy www.toofishy.com and i get some of my stuff, is kind of an outlet so prices are really low and they have weekly specials on all reef items, fish and corals so check it out. can you provide me with address of a few places in NJ? in need to vary and compare pricing, inventory and of course if they know what the heck they are talking about..
There are many people who are having hobbies specially hobbies like keeping fish tanks at home. This hobby is very interesting and you can learn a lot about fish.
I am in East Stroudsburg, PA right across the border from you (first exits in PA on I80). There is a store in East Stroudsburg called Donovan's Reef and the staff is very helpful. Only one tank with reef corals, but with sw fishes there are more choices and the quality of the fish is excellent.
Isnt Donovans closed? I just moved to E. Stroudsburg and saw that place is for rent. Send me a PM and ill show you a new spot for you to check out in PA.
