A.O Smith motor on Reeflo Orca 250 has been running for 4 months fine. Now it's overheating and tripping off. I'm told by Mike at Reef Specialty this is a known problem with this motor on the Reeflo skimmers. The Baldor motor is supposed to be much better. Anybody confirm this and who has switched to the Baldor? Can anybody give me the model number for the Baldor?

Yes, mine has the gold line baldor motor on it and runs flawlessly. Contact http://myreefcreations.com/ they now make the orca skimmer. They also custome make the pinwheel for it as well as the air intake.
