refug question

I have a 10g refug to add to my system. do i plum it in on the return or the overflow. also what should i put in the refug.sand,live rock,plants what kind?

You can plumb your fuge however you want. Some split the overflow with a smaller hose to run to the fuge then they let it spill over into the return to go back to their tank. Others keep the fuge above their tank and let a pump or powerhead run to the fuge and let the fuge overflow into their tank. Hope that helps.

You can put sand in your fuge, DSB if you wish. Id add some live rock for pod reproduction. Could also add some cheato or anykind of algea just let it grow.
