Refuge Lighting

How long do you keep your light on above your refuge. Just looking for general answers as there are many variables that go into this.

i have mine opposite of the tank lights. When the tanks lights go off my fuge lights comes on and off again when the tank lights come back on.

I just tried different combos and this worked the best for growth of the macro in my fuge. I tried on all the time, and then on and off with the main tank lights. I read on here that if you put them opposite tank lights it helps with the ph in the tank.

I turn mine on in the morning, and off at night when the main display lights come on around 6pm. I live in the desert so I run a reverse lighting cycle for heat reasons.
