Removing center brace?

New tank has a center brace. Is this vital to the tank? I think it would look better without it and would prob benefit the lighting as well. Has anyone removed this? Thoughts or suggestions?

Still haven't decided. Gonna use ryons for now. After things have settled down maybe up to t5s. But I also like the mh look.

You might consider replacing it with a piece of clear acrylic

I would leave it. Or replace it with a narrower piece of glass.

I would leave it on that tank I highly doubt it will even give you any shadows if thats what your worried about..

After meeting with Ryan and talking to him about the slight bow in his tank I have decided to leave it. Thnx for the input though
