im taking out the interal overflow on my 75 aga. just wondering if anyone else has done this and how they did it. what i was thinking was cut out as much of the overflow as i could with a dremel, except for the small spot where the overflow is siliconed to the corner of the tank over the clear silicone. then use a razor blade of some sort to get behind whats left of the overflow after cutting it out. btw its a newer version (not the corner overflow). also, is a razor the best way to get all the silicone off?

Dare I ask what you plan to do after the plastic overflow comes out?? You will still have two holes in the base of the tank. Last, keep in mind that you will quickly eliminate the warrenty.

I removed a Megaflow--It was scary, but it worked. I removed all the silicon, but I think the plastic is super glued to the glass. It took a lot of prying to finally get it lose. Good luck. R
