Removing Pulsing Xenia from Rock

How do you remove a Xenia Coral from a rock. I need to place it in another tank, but can't move the rock its on, so I need to take it off. Do you know how?

Cut it off with a razor blade. More xenia will grow back from where you cut it off. Then you can insert a toothpick into the bush of xenia and rubberband it to a peice of LR and there you go.

i just had to remove about 15 stalks of xenia. I used a razorblade and tweezers. I put them in a few plastic containers with rubble in them and veil over and they have attached already.
