Returning

Hello everyone, first time here. I'm just returning to the marine hobby after about a three year layoff. Good to be back!

I have a 65 gallon high tank with a 36" x 18" footprint and corner overflow. Tidepool 2 trickle filter, protein skimmer, glass hood, single flourescent light(came with tank setup).

I would like to keep a species of clownfish and a couple of different species of damsels. Don't think I'll have live rock, don't want the hassle of curing and the stink. So all tank decorations will be inert with a sand substrate. Right now I will have a limited amout of time, so I want to keep this as simple as possible.

Recommendations for fish species appreciated.

I'm leaning towards a tank raised percula clown, so I would most likely add it first, then add the damsels. Would it be best to add just a single clown or a pair in this situation?

i think a pair is the best way to go as they are just more interesting with the interactions. Try to find a mated pair. jmo
