Ricordéa Florida in a hig current sps tank?

hi all!

im neew in the shroom-game!
got a 90gallon mainly sps tank widt a 70x turnower rate. 2x150w halides and 2x36w t5 artinicks.

had some shroms in my first tank, but not florida`s or yumas.

how will some floridas trive in a hige current area at the bottom of the tank in a low nutrien tank?

They should be fine, but be careful with yumas- some react very adversely to changes in light\flow etc. Acclimation is key.

If you find there is too much flow and your mushrooms want to detatch you can use LR rubble to build a little area around them so they dont have quite as much flow so they stay attached and in place.

will floridas sting/burn sps if they toutch?
just trying to locate a good area to start a small collection.
will they spread rapidly?

It depends on the coral but mine sure dont spread the way xenia or some of my zoos do they are a bit slow.

I would keep them away from touching SPS they are very very slimey and the slime may turn into a little chemical warfare with the flesh of the sps
