Ricordia receding

Have ricordia in a 40 gal. tall with 2 65w 50/50 compact fluorescents on for about 10 hrs. and a 125 gal 2 6 ft. 150 w VHO actinics and 2 150 w VHO daylight bulbs. Actinics are on app. 11-12 hours and daylights on
for 8-9.
Temp and other parameters are about the same for both tanks. Ricordias were put in at the same time. All are on top of the live rock app. 4-6" from lights.
The ones under the 50/50 are expanding a lot while the ones under the VHO have shrunk to 1/2 to 2/3 smaller than they were when I put them in.
Too much lighting?

You maybe right, Id try lowering the one under VHO to the sand bed and see how it respondsthen move it up slowly to the desired location.

Also check the amount of water flow that could be playing a role also.

hwo are perameters? my ricordeas are under M/H and are doing great, but there was a time where they shrunk and I found out it was because i had some phosphates in the tank
