Right now bacteria & Odyssea 48" metal halides

aquatraders i have heard a few good things but have heard a lot of bad things about them

i would suggest spending the extra money or buy used if i were you

I really like my 48 in MH/PC/moonlight combo! The quality is MUCH better than the aquamedic oceanlights that I had before. It is tough to beat a 48 in unit with bulbs, ballast, hanging kit, moonlights for $270. I did replace the bulbs with phoenix 14k, the other MH bulbs were fine, just a little too white/yellow for my taste. I have heard some bad things about them, but that is what American Express/Visa is for. All in all I am very happy with them and the unit and I would reccomend them and their products. JMHO. Good luck!

I just bought a 48 512W MH PX moonlight fixture i order a week 1/2 ago and all i got was my fixture the ballast went to Wisconsin when i live in Wyoming. But it cool. Once i get the light up ill post how i think it does.

I have had 2 of the mh ballast catch on fire and one was only 8 months old ! Geoxman had his catch on fire as well, so definately buyer beware ! You cannot beat the price, but if you are not around and it catches on fire, could cost a lot more than a high end light fixture to repair or replace your house.
