Mr./Ms. M. Depot

You have a RIO Hyper Flow Powerhead listing in 3 sizes. Do you have in other information available on these pumps. Went to the Rio website and they don't even show it. I realize the Rio has a bad name here on RC, but I have used 3 of them 2100-2500 for over 5 years and have yet to have even a restart problem.

Thanks,
Steve U

I didn't see your post until last night. RIO was already closed. I should have posted that I was going to give them a call on Monday and then post the results here.

Sorry for being a smart @zz

Thanks for trying to check on it for me (us). I'm sure it is rather difficult at times to get the tools needed to sell some of these items.

But I'm sure you can understand that to purchase something like this with the information provided would be a somewhat blind purchasing decision. And based on the reputation they have here, some would think even my consideraton would questionable.

No need reply until availablity of info is determined.

Thanks again...

Sorry to be such a PITA, and I'm sure it's kinda hard to get info from them but...

What are the wattage and/or amp usages?

Do they have a flow rate at anything besides 1 ft head?

Just maybe one other rate such as 4 ft which is very common and can give us an idea of what you will get in the real world.

Thanks,
Steve U

The technical specifications are at the bottom of the page. I work on digging up the wattage ratings tommorrow. I'll post here as soon as I get them.

I guess I didn't go all the way down to the bottom of the page. I just went to the listing and clicked it.

Flow looks real good for a power head, I'm wanting to get somewhere around 600-700 gph. I think I'll get it form the HF32.

Four foot head...throught the chiller...through a squid. I'll give it a try. If not it can run a skimmer in the QT/(got to much live stuff) tank in the garage. :D

Thanks again
Steve U

Any luck squezzing the info out of the manufacturer, or are you waiting for a translater.:D Not to be a smart @zz, just a friendly reminder. :wavehand:

I'm sorry this one took so long. I couldn't get it from the manufacturer, but stupid ol' me didn't figure out to look at the pump until now. The 32HF is 115 watts. I gave the info on the rest of the pumps to the webmaster. She said she'll have it up before the end of the week.
