We will surely miss. Read many great articles by Mr Fenner. One of the great masters in the beginning when we were all learning about our tanks.

Oh dude. this is really sad. I spoke with him over email several times but always seem to miss him at events; now a regret. His site, WetWebMedia, is the OG source of reefing info. Its where I got my start in reefing.

A serious legend in this hobby. Rest in peace, Mr. Fenner.

I spoke with Bob a few times over the years. He was truly a beacon of knowledge and was always happy to share. Devastated to have heard about his passing, RIP

I received a shipment of coral and fish today and thought of Bob.

this video has a great story about how fish used to be shipped and why they now come in Styrofoam containers.

Also of interest: apparently Bob got his start in aquariums in a Japanese fish store just outside a military base. This explains a lot. :lolspin::lolspin::fish1:
