RMS XR30 Tank Mount

I understand that the RMS XR30 comes with 3 different sized sliding rails, but how far do they extend. For example the RMS XR15 accommodates tanks up to 20 inches. Will the RMS XR30 accommodates tanks up to 36 inches?

The RMS XR15 holds the light 8 inches (20 cm) from the top of the tank. Plus, the mounting rail rotates left and right and slides front-to-back for variable light orientation.

Multiple rail lengths are included to accommodate aquariums that are 12 to 20 inches (30.5 to 61 cm) front to back.

and to answer your question, Alex told me on the phone the longest rail is 18inches so it will accomodate the mid point of tanks up to 36inches.

if you mount a xr30 onto the mount, can you rotate the light, thinking of mounting 2 onto a tank, but need to rotate it.

I apologize for my previous post, the current RMS kit is not compatible with eurobraced aquariums. In order to mount onto a eurobraced aquarium, you will need two RMS kits as well as one of our extended rails. At this time, the rails are unavailable but will be very shortly. First you said the RMS is not compatible with eurobraced tanks, then you said you can with 2 kits.
Looking at all the pictures and instructions, I'm just not seeing how it's possible to use these on a eurobraced tank.

What am I missing?

These are very nice looking and would love to use them to hang my 3 Radions on my 6' eurobraced tank.

I think he's saying currently the RMS doesn't work with eurobraced tanks but with 2 and an extended rail you can have it running across your tank like in the attached photo. Maybe in the future there will be a add-on to RMS for eurobraced sold separately most likely.

so if ecotech requires the light to be 9" + off the water why does the rms only keep it 8.5? or is that 8.5 above the tank rim?
