RO/DI for Drinking and Aquarium

Can someone help me out?
I'm buying a 5 Stage RO/DI for both drinking and aquarium.
I understand I want RO for drinking, and the additional DI for aquarium.
My plan is to have a small pressurized tank to store the drinking water, and off of that, go to the fridge, rather than having a separate faucet.

I need to know how to properly plumb it, as well as where to put in check valves, etc. I'd like to store the aquarium water in a storage tank with shut off.

Here's a pic I found, but it's not really clear as to where to put valves, and it looks like the aquarium doesn't use the Carbon filter.

I just plumbed mine like a normal drinking system and put a t in to run 1 line to tank and one to the fridge. then I put the Di cartridge in my stand for my tank. I added a ro shut off with a float valve in my sump and a solenoid with a float switch for a backup shut off for a ato directly off my ro.

Here it is! My set up is shown in the first image. I use it as drinking system, auto top off and water change water.
It has been three years with 0 problem. Basically completely automatic top-off! This is the best thing I ever did in this hobby. I use two solenoids just in case. (When solenoid broke it remains closed.)

If solenoid longevity is concern I'd follow the second image.

I've been using the ro unit for drinking and fish tanks for over 10 yrs. The question is is there a long term side effect of drinking pure ro water, i mean without any necessary minerals.

I just upgraded my spectrapure system to a RO/DI- drinking water one. They do have a diagram on thier website. They sell mineral cartridges to go inline, after a second carbon block to remineralize and help with taste. Been working great.HTH's.

I just realized, I am making water for my reef every other day. The video indicates a manual valve to direct water either for drinking or reef. My setup is automated.

I may be out of luck here.

Pusanpa, do not want to burst your bubble ;) but do you realize that if your diagram is complete there is nothing there which would prevent enormous water waste? I hope you have pressure-controlled cutoff valve somewhere before the ro membrane and you just missed to include it on your diagram.

If you really do not have such valve as a part of your ro system than I would recommend moving both your electrovalves on the water supply line feeding your whole system.

Here is a four-way version of such valve:
