Thats all great .. but I am unsure how that applies to this thread. Similar to posters long rants about RO units available on EBay .. often a bit of knowledge taken without practical application gets you questionable answers. If you think purchasing a new RO membrane is whats in order .. fine. Bet you a nickle that he's back with the same problem in pretty short time.

How does it apply? The man is asking what he can do to make it better, it doesn't get any clearer than that. What he can do is optimize his RO system and add a well designed DI filter to the end of it. He could add a water softener for pretreatment but that may or may not be an option.
