Rubbermaid Roughneck vs. Brute

Anyone using the "Roughneck" line of garbage cans for water rather than the "Brute"?

Any horror stories?

Brutes are better, but I've always used Roughnecks.....

my roughneck sprunk a little leak the other day and it was only liek 5 months old. but it was only 12 bucks in the summer, i went to lowes today to get another and they didnt have them neither did walmart. im not back 35 bucks for a brute trash can. i just bought a rubbermaid 50 gallon storage tote thing.

I have both but I prefer my Brute since I have the optional caster accessory too to make it easier to move around when full.

I have the Brute also with the casters. Sweet for moving it around full of water.

FWIW... According to the Filter Guys, the Brutes are the only one that they KNOW for sure won't leach crap into your water.

Home Depot sell Roughneck and Brute.
They look like they're made out of the same material- it's just that the Brutes are thicker plastic.

the Huskee's have the same thickness as brute "extremely durable" but less expensive.
