Rubbermaid stock tank leaking?

I am in the process of using a Rubbermaid stock tank for my basement sump.I seen the reviews for the tank on Tractor Supply and seen a lot of people complain about the drain leaking.Do you think it would be a problem? All of them were used outside in the weather.

The stock tanks come with a bulkhead fitting already, but it is a cheap one and prone to leaking. You can do one of two things. Either use silicone sealant on the existing bulkhead, which works fine, or buy a better quality bulkhead. Cannot remember what size, 1 1/2 maybe. Better bulkhead is probably the better solution.

I just looked at one here in town. This one had a drain that screwed in from the outside.Could I just get a better bulk head the same size?
