Running a skimmer a dosing two part

how do you guys go about running a skimmer and dosing a part for alk and ca? i find myself turning off my skimmer right after dosing and having to open the skimmers' riser tube all the way when turning it back on. is there a way around this? and how long do you usually keep your skimmer off before turning it on again?

When I was running 2 part I used a peristaltic pump that dosed .5 ml /min. No problems with skimmer that way.

I do the same, so I haven't seen any problems with the 2 part and my skimmer.

so if i dose little by little it shouldn't affect the skimmer?

i dont know what you talking about but i dose 40 ml of both part A and then B and my skimmer never changes its activity

Ok im an idiot. I tried it last night and everything was fine. I wonder what it was before that made my skimmer go crazy before
