Salifert Mag test kit

The new test kit asks to use 3 mil instead of 2mil. Is this for a better accuracy or just try to ask us to buy more?

I have no idea. I think you'll have to follow the instructions, in any case.

I asked but then figured myself that the question doesn't make sense since they said you can use half dose...

If its like their other kits, its just for a better read. I'm looking at their ALK test kit right now & it says...

Add 4 mil of water to the vial.....for a LOWER RESOLUTION add 2 mil insted. This will get you more tests per kit.

IMO....I would use the 3 mil like they suggest. Your going to get a more accurate reading.
