When would one of these test kits be used.

I don't think they are especially useful, but if such a test worked well, then it could be a useful way to judge if you need to replace the GAC, etc.

It could tell you if you have sufficient skimming and or activated carbon running on the tank.

I just do my best to remove organics on a continual basis. IMO we will be hearing a lot more about organics and their negative effects in the future.
