Saltwater safe valves

I'm working on a project and need some saltwater safe electrically controled valves. They need to be at least 3/8" valves and preferably 1/2".

Do a search on the internet for "selenoid" valves. Lots available.

Yeah me too. However finding one that is saltwater safe and doesn't cost >$200 has proven very difficult.

I think that somebody mentioned that USPlastic has them. The big problem is that they end up being expensive.

I found a few Georg Fischer elecronically actuated pvc valves on ebay awhile ago. They come up from time to time and you can get a real nice one for $30 or $40.

I'll have to watch for them. I'm trying to keep the price to under $80 if I can. and I surely don't want to pay the $250 that I keep finding them at. I had no idea it cost so much to make one of these valves.
