I enjoyed reading your trials and tribulations, although I can't believe Ron just let you find out this would be quite difficult with no heads-up.

So you had your course, but what was the final determination? Did your results give you any good indicators or potential issues?

Thanks for the encouragement....

As for the class....it is still in progress. (The sediment analysis was lab assignment #1.) I just finished the chemistry lab assignment yesterday (it took two weeks). Call it twenty-five hours of water samples taken at 0,2,4,6,8 and 10cm (three repetitions each) and testing for seven different chemicals! I figure I'll be able to write a book by the time I finish this class.

Dr. Ron is planning to do his presentation at IMAC in Chicago in June using information from our class. Plus he'll probably have at least a couple of articles in Reefkeeping making some sense out of all this data!
