Recently,I have seen lots of floating sargassum coming in with the tides at Ponce Inlet.Since i already use NSW would this be safe to use in the fuge or how about in a planted tank? The macro
has all theese little balls on it.Will theese burst and release spores into tank?

A lot of people have sargassum in their tanks, it frequently shows up on new live rock. In can float or grow attached. I have attached Sargassum in the main tank, and float sargassum in the refugia. Try banding some to a rock to promote attachment. It does better in strong lighting, IME. I've never observed spore release with Sargassum, and it does not spread readily by fragmentation. The "balls", as far as I know, are just tiny floats that give the algae bouyancy.
