savko bulkheads

Does anybody know if I can attach a length of pvs to a Savko Bulkhead, with the standard pvc "glue". I am having trouble figureing out how to plum my return to the return bulkhead. I figured that I could put a peice of PVC in the outide half of the bulkhead and my return line would slip over that.

I.E. Mag 12 return pump..to a peice of felxiable tubing slipped over a peice of PVC wich is glued to the bulkheadusing PVC glue .

Any other ideas?

by the way, I have the lightweight bulkheads.

Your piping normally is glued into the hole in the bulkhead, orscrewed in if it has threads. They can come both ways. PVC glue works on most bulkheads. If you are going to use hose, use a piece of pvc pipe with a threaded adapter and a hose barb fitting.

Use "all purpose" cement. it is good for pvc, cpvc, and abs. It should work just fine.
