I am pretty sure that this is a Scolymia Australis. Wanted to know what you guys thought of it. Ben

When i bought it, it was perfectly round and then my marron clown decieded that he didn't like where it was placed and moved it so that it was on its side for a couple days. The tissue recession has stoped and it is starting to grow it back. Btw what is the weather like in Spain? Ben

Nice piece....
I got couple myself. One Orange (Marbled) and One Marble (Blue/Green/Brown) pattern

feed it some small or kinda ground up frozen krill to help out with that recession of the flesh and the pigments in krill are really good at helping out red/orange pigments!! or so ive heard?im a true believer in the krill.

Krill might be a bit big for them.
My LFS (which I got my Orange one from) said they go crayz for Cycloyees....

They can eat krill if they are big enough or the krill is small enough! I take care of one and it's large enough to eat whole silversides. I thought they preferred to be in the substrate like brains tho?

no offense but i dont put cyclopese in my tanks! most scolys ive seen are more than capable of eating krill or kinda ground up krill like i told him to use.ive always kept mine in trhe substrate to!!

I have other type of Scoly (the more "puffy" type) as well...those can take silver side without any issue.
But the ones picture....I have not seen them to be that puffed out and can't image them use their tenticles to wrestle a piece of silver side into their mouth. Not saying it is impossible just I have not seen this type do so in person...
