scopas tang with a royal blue pygmy angel

Hi everyone,
I've had a scopas tang for a few months and last week I added a royal blue pygmy angel and most of the week the angel has hidden itself in a rock, I re-landscaped my tank so there's no blind spots and my tang seems to not want the angel out of his sight and when it gets near to it, it keeps tapping the angel with his tail :/
Is this common to new fish or is he trying to hit it with the spikes near his tail?!

He's wanting to kill it if hitting it with the spikes on the tail. I had a large yellow tang try and destroy my very large Emperor angel with that thing. Well a very small hook and sewing thread I caught it and gave it back to the LFS where I got it from in trade for a smaller YT. I had purchased a trio and that one had to go :hammer:

Thank you turns out the angel is dead it didn't get attacked by the tang it got stuck trying to hide from it and that's the end of the chaos apart from my tang is looking aggressive!! Now when I look at the tang, he turns around and shows me his tail so I've placed a mirror on the side of the tank to get his aggression out
