SCRK November 15th Potluck Meeting- Last one of the year!

Coral Hoarder :P
Hey Everyone!

Sorry this is a late notice but this years last SCRK meet will be Sunday November 15th.
This meeting has always been our holiday party so we do a potluck style with hopes that others can bring food to share.
My thoughts on food. We can never have enough of sides or main dishes. About 3-4 desserts should be plenty. We will need some drinks as well.
If you could or would like to bring something for the meet please post it here on the thread or feel free to email me president@scrk.org.

As far as a speaker I was thinking since it was the last meet we can have an open discussion on anything that you guys might have issues on. Throw out some topics here if you like.
Stuffing our faces with food and talking reef sounds like a perfect night to me. ;)

If any of you missed last meeting, we had a crazy raffle. I think everyone left with something. :)
We're planning on having one just as good,if not better, this month!

For the raffle we will have lots of live and dry goods.
A couple other things for raffle include a 24x24x8 frag tank with external overflow and a CAD Lights PLS-150.

Oh and for those that don't know, Dan at AGE has a new spot indoors for the club to meet at. So no more freezing outside. :)
Come support the club so we can have another awesome year. Some cool things planned for next year.

LOCATION

Age of Aquariums
2642 Cherry Ave. Signal Hill, CA

DATE & TIME
Sunday September 20th -- 6:00pm to 8:00pm

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND. SCRK MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO ALL!!

Hope you all can join us. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Hi all!
Jian here! I'm new to the hobby, 4 months to be exact. I looked at the different clubs in Southern California and this was the most feasible driving distance. I'm not a member but would love to partake in this potluck. Can I ask how many people usually attend these events so I can bring the right amount of dessert :)?

We usually have around 30-40 people. You don't need to bring enough for everyone although that would be great if you did! Plan on enough for 8-10 people.
Thanks, look forward to meeting you!
