scwd plumbing help.

im setting up my mag 9.5 cl and i need some help with the cheapest easiest way to set it up. can u show some pics of how u did it and help me out along the way

Hose clamps, as long as your clamps are not in the water it will be ok.:rollface: :mad2: :rollface:

I just set one up on a 20g long and I'm going to yank it all apart. I used a Mag 7, thinking it would be too much flow but that I could use a ball valve to dampen it if needed. I ended up with flow equal to something along the lines of a Maxijet 400 (100 gph).

I've read the posts on modding the scwd for more flow but I'm so ****ed at it I think it's best just to beat it with a hammer. Hopefully you'll end up happier than me. My suggestion would be to use the largest diameter PVC you can fit so that you don't kill your flow. That and reeming out the inlets on the scwd prior to installation and you may have better luck.

Attach these to PVC threaded fittings, slip on your tubing, and clamp.
