Been all over Sanjays thread, looked at all the numbers, and now that I'm totally confused I'll ask the question I wanted to ask 14 hours ago. DE pendants need a UV shield and SE pendants don't, why use DE pendants since the shield knocks off 18-22% of the PAR?
Thinking about MH instead of T5 for a 180 gallon tank. Looking at 250 de Reefoptics III or Lumenmax reflectors. I hear 14k Phoenix for looks 10k Ushio for growth. What kinda ballasts? Ice cap electronics, EVC, Blue line? I don't know.
