Sea Salt (ASAP)

So i am stuck between Reef Crystals, Ocean Pure, and Instant Ocean.

I plan on having very few, if any, SPS, mostly LPS and some softies.

What would y'all recommend?

Or what issues have u had with each?


Reef Crystal: Caclium: 420 Alk: 12 Mag: 1260
Ocean Pure: Cal:510 Alk: 10 Mag:1320


And i seem to have lost my info on IO.

All I can add is that I know IO is generally low on Ca, but I am not sure what the concentration is.

IO seems to be pretty popular after dosing it to increase calcium.

Well i wouldnt want to be dosing all the time. I guess that narrows it down to Ocean Pure and Reed Crystal

My preference is for Reef Crystals. I think there's a sale at Fosters and Smith as well.

I use RC and still have low Ca and Alk. I havent decided how to dose yet. Still looking for recommendations.

How large is your tank. If you have a small tank or aren't as concerned with price. Tropic Marin makes great salt.

Any thing you get will have to be supplemented.

I use Reef Crystals... Then Kent additives to hit my levels, and ESV 2-part to maintain them.
