I live in NW florida and see the long spine sea urchins all the time when I am diving. I am sure they are the same species that are found inthe carribbean. I want to collect a couple for my tank. Does anyone know if they will harm the corals. I have mostly mushrooms and LPS.
While these urchins may mostly eat algae, some have been spoted to occasionally much on sessile invertebrates. I don't know how well would they do at reef temps.
